Introduction
I am an interaction designer and new media artist who crafts mixed-reality experiences by blending physical and digital media. I grew up in Lahore, Pakistan and moved to the United States in 2008. I received a Masters in Interaction Design from California College of the Arts and a BFA in Graphic Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
New Media Art
My new media practice centers on queer, immigrant, and non-western narratives. This work manifests as installations, projections, videos, live visuals, and programmed electronics.
Creative Technology Collective
I am a member of Macro Waves, a collective-owned, creative studio formed by interdisciplinary artists of color.
UX Design
I am a UX Designer at Adobe.
Previously, I worked at Lightform, Minds of Tomorrow, NIO, Tellart, Fenway Health & The Economist.
